I do alot of historic houses that contain alot of antiques. I have appraisers who work for me, please contact me and I can offer you direction.

Sounds like a great project!  You would just handle room by room as with any other inventory.   The Home Journal Business software will have no trouble handling a large inventory.  

You might want to consider your resolution settings on your digital camera however.  You typically don't need the highest setting which is good for 8x10 prints and greater.... these settings will take more space on your camera memory as well as on your hard disc once the pics are loaded into the software.

Was wondering if anyone had ever done a registered historical home. We will be undertaking a 6,000 sq. ft. historical home with a significant number of antique artifacts.

Does anyone have suggestions on how this might be done?  We are anticipating about 3 weeks to do the inventory. Will the software accomodate a significant number of items?
