RE: What's in a name?

Thanx Fred!

I went with Asset Protection Services.
I think that name can cover both business and home service and I think I can make the case that our loved ones are our greatest asset, so be prepared by learning CPR.

Next stop... Logo.

I'll keep you posted!

thanx again for the response

Terry

How about something with 'Protection' in the name such as:

Protection Plus Services
or
Homeowner Protection Services
or
Protection Services

You can then ad a tag line under your company name that you can change as you expand your services.  Initially you may go with:

Protection Services
Home & Business Asset Documentation

Later you may go with something like:

Protection Services
Asset Documentation, Personal CPR Training & Disaster Prevention

I am having the hardest time coming up with a name for my business!
My goal is to have a business that is focused on disaster prep in the home.

My services will include:

Home Inventory
In home Infant and Adult CPR Training
Fire extinguisher servicing/sales
Disaster Planing and consulting for HOA's, Nursing homes, schools, business, etc.
Weed abatement consultation
Earthquake prep
(I'm a fireman in California so this direction makes sense for me)

I'd like to start with home inventory and expand services in the future.

But picking a name like Abc Home Inventory seems to limit the larger picture I have for my business. And I most certainly don't want to use the word "Disaster" in the name of my business!

Any suggestions?
