My contract states the following, but I realize now I am not covering your third scenario... returning a bunch of stuff... Perhaps I should add such verbiage...
Client is the owner of all inventoried property and PMI (Peace of Mind Inventory) has no knowledge to the contrary.
I know this topic is covered in another section of this forum, but for the life of me, I can't find it! And the search function is down!
The contract that came with the kit doesn't cover issues like:
The home owner has "borrowed" a bunch of stuff for the sake of the inventory... Stolen merchandise... The home owner has purchased a bunch of stuff they plan to return...
Is there any language that people have added to their contract that handles this kind of thing?
