RE: Pricing

Thanks, I think I like the idea of combining both ways.  Gives me more to think about.  The prep work has taken a bit longer than I expected but I think it is all good.

My pricing starts out with what I know are my costs. How much I want to make an hour. etc. Then I will give my time by the square footage of the residience. After that alotted time I go by an hourly rate.

So say I have a house that is 2500 sq ft. then it's my rate for this size house. This will give the home owner about 2.5 hours of my time to inventory their home. Then if we go too much over I will start charging by the hour which is $100.00 hr.

Hope this helps.

I am having a bit of a problem trying to decide if I should charge by square footage or by time.  My first thought was it may not look to good if I sold a basic package and it is taking me much longer than it should.  I am thinking it may be better to start out using square footage and not worry about time then switch to an hourly meathod after some practice.  Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Ron
