Summer is slow here in British Columbia, not to much home inventories happening. Anyways, glad to see the improvements on the software,especially hiding the fields that we don't use.
Hi Kim, Yes, upgrades to the business software are available free for our customers. The focus of the upgrade will be on reporting flexibility and improved formatting, including page breaks. I think everyone will find the upgrade very helpful!
Regarding changing any fixed words, you can actually do that today by simply exporting your report to Word or Excel and doing a Find/Replace All if you like.
The upgrade will give you the option to Show/Hide all appraisal info on the reports.
hey fred what kind of features and is it a free download for us who already have your software. Also will it fix the items per page problem(some are cut off)
I was asked about changing some of the fixed words like values or prices. For some of our jobs when working with appriasers want the wording a little different. thanks for the great software!
I did review them. And they are for individuals who want to do their own inventories. I was just amazed at how many more inventory companies were out there as compared to the last time I checked.

I got some bad news today. My stepmom isn't going to invest in me. So I'm back to square one with money. I'm going to get another job after the holiday so I can save more money.
Hi Kelly, I just searched too... and see all of the usual programs that have been available for some time now, including Quicken.
Please keep in mind that the majority of programs you see are geared towards the individual home owner and are not suited for business purposes with storage/database capacity etc... Also, many such as Quicken are not Windows Vista compatible and take a huge amount of disk space. Quicken for example requires 600MB of disk space which is quite large in my opinion.

I just googled "home inventory". It's been a few weeks since I did it. Has anyone seen the new Quicken Home Inventory Manager software for sale? What's up with that?
In fact the search sults are incredible. So many more companies advertising online and lots of different database programs for sale.
