I have been able to create a way to have my logo and business information show on screen when the customerstarts the DVD of their home. It has been placed on the video prior to the title screen. The as the last scene fades, the logo screen and business name and address fade in. This is how I get my business name on their video. (No screen credits etc! Ha!)
But, I wasn't aware of the way the information was put on the customer's computer. Thank you again for clearing this up for me.

Hi George, Not to worry, you are doing everything correctly. Your company name and contact info actually gets saved when you do an 'Export' and copy the data to the Data CD.
As long as you input your company info in the Business software (which is done from the 'File' ... 'Update Company Info' menu) then it will be included when you export.
The client then can quickly install the Protection Plus sofware which prompts them to pop in the Data CD the first time they run it. Your company info gets pulled in automatically so every time the start the Protection Plus software your company name appears on the spash screen as well as your full contact info when they click the 'Service' button from the main tool bar.
This keeps your company name in front of the client on a regular basis and allows them quick access to your contact info.
I must have missed something somewhere. In the section of this message board "FAQ's - Home Journal Software," you state "A favorite feature that Home Inventory Business owners enjoy is having their company name and contact information shown in the Protection Plus software." I have been giving the software with my reports but I haven't even tried to access the software to add my business information.
Is there any special way to do this without overwriting the program information?
(there are times when I don't know what I should to work things exactly right and this is one of them. Ha!)
When I have presented the customer with the completed project, in addition to the printed reports, I usually give them the Protection Plus Software, a Data Disk with all their information and photos, and the DVD (if requested). That's three (3) disks that I include in the finished package. The labels on the Data Disk and the DVD include my business information but it has not been on the Protection Plus Software disk.
