RE: How the final inventory is packaged.

Hello,
Just a word of caution about storing information online.  Many of your clients, especially those retired and somewhat new to the world of computers do not have a comfort level with their information stored online.  A big part of the home inventory market is made up of those who are retired.

They hear the stories of peoples personal information being compromised with credit cards and have concerns about all their asset details getting stolen or getting robbed by someone who knows what they own.

I've heard considerable feedback which indicates storing securely at a local level is an option much easier to sell to most clients.

Thanks for your input, the option of storing it all on line is a great option.

Depending on the client's requirements, we typically provide our deliverables electronically.  If a hard copy report is not required (usually not in our case), we use an online inventory solution and simply provide the username and password to the client.  Their information is stored safely online if they ever need it!  If a hard copy deliverable is indeed required, you might consider keeping the report unbound so that it more easily would fit in a safe deposit box, as you suggest.

I have been putting together a binder for the client, but someone asked me about prsenting it in some thing smaller that would fit in a safety deposit box.  I know they could take the reports out and store them with the disk.  Does anyone deliver the final product in some other way than a binder?
