Have you tried the department of insurance or ministry of insurance for your province? Most usually have a website with some of this data on it. Also you can try the RCMP they may additional data regarding some of your requested info. Even your local police public information department could help direct you to the information.
Another bet, is to contact several different insurance companies in BC. Talk to their public information office. They also would have this data. Though they may not want to part with it so easily. Also if you can you could ask these insurance companies for a copy of their annual report. You may find some of your answers here.

I am looking for data from the last 5 years or so detailing home fires, property loss, fraudulent claim costs, etc. Pretty much anything relating to our industry. I am having trouble finding this type of info. If anyone has great research skills to point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful.
